Ricky and his staff were amazing to work with. They showed up on time ( a day early actually) done the job fast and efficient. They cleaned up everything and left the yard looking just like it did when they arrived. They were very responsive to my questions. Amazing company to do business with. I will def use these guys in the future.

Last summer, I was contemplating making the biggest investment in my home ever - a new roof! I didn’t have to think long before I knew that I wanted to get a quote from Lane’s Contracting because the owner, Ricky Lane Salyers, was someone I knew. Ricky and Clay promptly responded to my request for a planning estimate and came to my house. Within hours I had a quote to consider. It wasn’t until February of this year when I finally made the decision to replace my tin roof with architectural shingles. Once again, Ricky came out and we discussed the process and decisions to be made. Every step of the way he was there to assist me. My roof replacement was not an easy job. Underneath the tin roof, there was a second roof - a wood shake roof - that required intensive labor to remove. Additionally, cuts in a couple of beams were found and had to be repaired. The roofing crew could do it all - there was never any “down” time to go get a contractor to complete the carpentry work - the crew was already there! I cannot say enough about the crew that worked on my house. They worked HARD and with SKILL and KNOWLEDGE. There was rarely a moment they were not full force working, barely stopping to eat. At the end of each day, they made sure the roof was tight and no water would penetrate in the event of rain. Additionally, every day, the site was left clean - no materials or debris lying about except in designated areas or containers. Upon completion, Ricky came by to see if there were any items yet to do. He made sure that a couple of small items, which his project manager already had in the works to be done, were completed. When choosing a business to work with, one needs to not just look at the success of the business, but at the measure of the people who run it or own it. In the case of Lane Contracting that person is Ricky Salyers. I have known Ricky for about 25 years. Way before he built Lane Contracting, Ricky was my neighbor and I hired Ricky to do work for me. Even as a young man, he was competent, skilled and kind. I hold Ricky Salyers in the highest of esteem. He surrounds himself with employees who are good and competent people. His office staff is superb and always responded to any questions that I had throughout the contract process. In summary, when I looked for a roofer to complete the largest investment in my home since I purchased it, I had to look no further than Ricky Salyers because he measures as a giant amongst his peers. I feel lucky to be able to call him a friend and thankful he was the contractor to replace my roof.

All of our siding and trim replaced, and they did a really quality job as well as coming in at a really reasonable price. Their costs for painting are questionable, so I'd use someone else for that part, but when it comes to the actual siding, roofing, or similar -- these folks are tops.

All work done professionally and on time as promised.Clean-up was thorough. Many calls from the staff kept us up to date with any schedule changes. No surprises.

I used this company to install a new roof. The work was so high quality, I rehired them to paint the inside ceiling of my home. Now I am hiring them to repair my deck, two of my sheds, and place new siding on my home. When that is done I have more work for them. They are professional; the office is professional and friendly; and the quality of their work is first rate.
